"We absolutely love Nicholson Farm - we try to visit a few times a year, and have never been disappointed. The farm is relaxing, family friendly and surrounded by countryside and wildlife. Tim and Karen are fantastic hosts, and Tim's farm tours, and other activities are always informative, enjoyable and fun. This is the perfect site, where children have plenty of space, and have to use their imaginations to make their own fun. Tim and Karen will do everything they can to help - they actually come and speak to every camper every day (despite the fact this is a working farm and they are very busy). The wood fires are a must, as are the bacon, eggs and sausages for sale. We will never tire of the views and the hospitality of Tim and Karen and would recommend Nicholson Farm to anybody". "Thank you for a lovely weekend at your beautiful farm. Stan loved waking up each morning whether it was to a hot air balloon going over or the cows moo-ing at the back of the tent. We had a great break away and can't wait to come back again :) - oh and the breakfast was amazing xx" - Vicky, Jim and Stan - bristol - May 2013

"We have been totally charmed by Nicholson Farm. All the happy campers were treated to a dairy farm tour, pond dipping and seed planting. Tim is a wealth of local information on nature and his views on farming were informative and considered. This was our first trip of the 2013 season and the generous hosts (luckily) helped us out when we forgot our hook-up cable, ran out of gas and couldn't find our tent pegs! The children were delighted with the safe yet challenging playground and if the hot water does run out first thing (it was a particularly busy B/H weekend) then enjoy a bacon sandwich, a cup of tea and try again. Dinner at the King's Head was a welcome treat. We will be back". May 2013 - UKCampsites.co.uk

"Another brill weekend at Farmer Tim's (as we affectionately call it).
We've spent many a weekend at Nicholson Farm and are yet to be disappointed. For us it's an ideal campsite to sit and relax, enjoy the scenery, play with the kids on the park, watch the milking and if you're really lucky the the birth of a cow or bull.
Our kids really enjoy Farmer Tim's too. We're happy knowing that they're safe.
Tim and Karen are great hosts. With 20 pitches and only an hour's drive away, this rustic campsite is right right up our street. Give it a try why don't you". K&D Upton Sept 2012 - Lovecamping.co.uk
